IHMA theory and practical rooms:
IHMA tuition rooms are comfortably furnished with padded chairs, clean hard surfaced desks, are carpeted and temperature controlled, have bright neon lighting, are acoustically sound and have large white boards. All training rooms are secure, have close access to amenities and are cleaned on a regular basis. IHMA also has two IT labs with a total of 40 Computers in the Richmond IT labs. All IT Labs are equipped with ergonomic chairs, are carpeted and air conditioned/heated.
IHMA practical sessions are carried out in commercially graded kitchens, under optimum student instructor ratios, use fresh produce (where possible) and allow for full participation to develop commercial abilities. Each student will create each dish a number of times using the full range of appropriate equipment.
